Ms. Doucette possesses all of the characteristics of an amazing teacher. She is kind, caring, thoughtful and encouraging towards all of her students. She is the teacher that you will never forget.

During my high school years, I was blessed to have Ms. Doucette as my science and chemistry teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed these courses and these were the areas where I always received my highest marks. Ms. Doucette’s love and passion for science is clearly shown through her teaching, and it is what inspired me to love the subject as well.

Throughout my years spent at Ascension Collegiate, Ms. Doucette has not only encouraged me to do my best, but to always reach my full potential. She connects with students on a personal level, and is always there to give positive feedback, and to help students when they need it. She oftentimes spends the majority of her free time helping her students prepare for evaluations, such as midterms and public exams, and I firmly believe it is because of her hard work and dedication that I was so successful in these subject areas.

Since having Ms. Doucette as a teacher, I have continued on to Memorial University where I am working towards my education degree. Ms. Doucette has been a big inspiration for this decision, and I would like to thank her for the positive impact that she has had on my life.

Ms. Doucette has had a lasting effect on me, and it is because of her that I have chosen a focus area in science. As a future educator, I can only hope that I can be half the teacher that Ms. Doucette is. Her dedication and concern for her students goes above and beyond the expectations, as she is not only a teacher, but a mentor.

Thank you, Ms. Doucette, for your encouragement and determination. Without you, I would not be where I am today. I am so grateful for your kindness and support!
