My story is about a teacher who inspired me to become an English teacher. His name is Fred Simms and he teaches English at Ascension Collegiate in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, Canada.
I liked English before but when I got in level 2, he made me realize how good I was at it. I remember him handing out my essay to the level 2’s and 3’s and I never felt such confidence in my work before. Whenever I have a bad day and I walk into his class I automatically feel better because he makes you laugh while you work. I know he is a teacher I can ask anything to and I know he is there for me when I need it.
