Mrs. Pinksen made Gr. 3 special

Mrs. Shirley Pinksen taught me grade 3 at L.P. Purchase Academy in Botwood. I absolutely loved her. She had such a gentle tone and was so caring toward all her students. I adored everything about her, even her beautiful cursive handwriting that I am still trying to achieve!

When I think back in all my school years, I often think of grade three. What makes grade three so special? My teacher of course! I am now a junior high teacher myself and hope I can leave my students with the same feelings you left me. That is, included, valued, and respected.
