A Message From the NLTA President, Dean Ingram
These days, there’s a lot of uncertainty going around. But one thing that remains constant is concern about our children’s education.
No matter the distance, teachers are still here to support their students, and when we are back in our classrooms, teachers will draw on their considerable experience and training to identify any learning gaps and ensure that no child was disadvantaged as a result of the suspension of in-school classes.
We know this is a major adjustment and there may be growing pains. And just like in a traditional classroom, it’s important to remember that what works for one student may not work for another. We encourage all students and parents to reach out to their child’s teachers for help and advice as they adapt to this new normal.
Thank you for your ongoing patience, understanding, and kindness. Together, we can navigate this challenging time.
