Ms. Christine L. Kennedy
Instructional Resource Teacher

My name is Alex Wells and I live with Hereditary Spastic Paraparesis. My parents knew that there were going to be challenges throughout my life, whether it be in Education or every day living aspects.  When I started Junior High I had so many worries. But there was one very special teacher that stood out—Ms. Kennedy.

Ms. Kennedy is an IRT. From the first day of Grade 7, Ms. Kennedy made me feel that I could do anything if I tried, and it was ok to make mistakes. She made learning fun and helped me understand some things that I was having difficulty understanding. I always felt very comfortable talking with Ms. Kennedy. She would always support me and give her best advice.

Ms. Kennedy has helped me to succeed with my education. I appreciate everything that she has done for me for the past 2 years. I would like to thank and recognize Ms. Kennedy for her outstanding job as my Instructional Resource Teacher.
