Teachers change lives every day

Thank you, Mr. Snelgrove

Author: Pamela Kendell-White
Teacher's name: Mr. Snelgrove
Teacher's school: GFA High

Grand Falls-Windsor was beyond fortunate to have such a strong music educator at our disposal. Words cannot express how talented, caring, and dedicated Mr. Snelgrove really is. The amount of overtime punched in did not go unnoticed – from putting off numerous high school musicals to endless practices in preparation for the Kiwanis Music Festival, our performances were always of the highest caliber.

Mr. Snelgrove is the kind of teacher that pushed you to your maximum potential and would not settle for anything less. Music class was one of the only classes that I really looked forward to from Grade 5 – Grade 12. Having him as a teacher for 8 years in a row was a blessing. I can’t thank him enough for all the laughs, memories, and skills that he has taught me over the years. As an educator myself I can only wish to be half the teacher that he is.

Mr. Snelgrove is retiring at the end of this school year and whoever takes his place has some big shoes to fill. Enjoy every moment of your retirement Snelgove, no one deserves it more than you!
