Thank you, Mr. Scott Blundon.
I spent 3 extremely important years in high school, with you. There are so many things that I never got a chance to thank you for, so here is my chance to make up for that. Thank you for sticking with me through endless talks about the most extreme things; from boys, relationships, friendships, post-secondary, and even family issues. Coinciding with the previous – thank you for not giving up on me. When moments came that I believed I could not keep going, you held me up. Without knowing it, you helped me through some of the hardest years of my life. You helped me learn to believe in myself, when I didn’t think possible, and that is the most valuable thing I left high school with, not my high school diploma, but my worth.
I learned more from you than just academics. You were not just a person who taught my class, you were not just a figure in the halls, you were the person who greeted me every morning, even if you hadn’t had your cup of coffee yet! If I looked the slightest bit upset, you were always the first to crack a lame joke to cheer me up – even if the other kids in school were making your day hard, you always managed to keep a smile on your face.
If it weren’t for you, I probably wouldn’t be where I am right now. I would like to thank you. I’ve graduated college, and now I’m working in a career that I couldn’t love any more than what I already do (thanks to your great reference by the way!)
