Every teacher has a story. Our teachers are more than educators. They’re champions for our children. They’re helping our kids overcome barriers, discover their talents, and feel confident in who they are. They’re teaching newcomers English, and even guiding children through personal tragedy. Teachers are changing lives every day, but we don’t always see it. So we must tell their stories — to remind us how very important our teachers are to our children, our families, and our entire future. Click here to hear some of them, from Nain and New-Wes-Valley to Lawn and Grand Falls-Windsor and everywhere in between.
